With everything that is happening around us lately, with all those unstoppable wars, raging storms, deadly earthquakes, incurable diseases, famine, drought, domestic violence, rape and rampant crimes, people think if God really exist? We have seen, heard and witness how devastating and decaying the world we live in and sometimes most of us wants to believe that God is so cruel, that He just sitting prettily on His throne and happily watching His creation dying because of all these catastrophes. So many people become easily offended with God they have without even trying to know and seek Him better. Sometimes because of our bad experiences we easily forgotten Him and believe that He doesn’t love us all. We tend to believe on every negative gossips about God and we choose to believe that He is not real after all. We never tried to search for the truth and easily fall out in every tactics and lies of the enemy. Sometimes we are easily stumbled with other fellow believer’s actions and decline to go the church anymore, forgetting that we are part of that body.
Do you ever doubt the existence of God? Are you easily persuaded by the opinions of others instead of knowing deeply the greatest friend of all, Jesus? Thus His death on the cross is not enough evidence for you of His redeeming love for you and me? Do you want more proof of His existence? Look at those things around you, the rising and setting of the sun each day, the crashing of waves in the sea, the chirping of the birds, the beautiful flowers ,the budding of the trees and the mere fact that you are alive and strong each day are more than enough for you to believe that God really exist.
God doesn’t stop existing when people decide He’s not real. He doesn’t panic when you struggle to believe in Him. He doesn’t turn His back on you even when everyone does. And He doesn’t stop loving you even it’s hard for you to find love.
Jesus is the same God yesterday, today and tomorrow and He will never ever change no matter what is our circumstance and no matter if we are good or bad. He will always be on His best even when we are on our worst.
Be encouraged today. He is just a prayer away. Tell Him everything that is keeping you to believe Him, pour out to Him all your fears and worries. He understands you and He cares for you. He is not just simply sitting and watching you from above, He is just waiting you to call out to Him and believe that He loves you. He longs for your love too. Just simply believe and you will experience the peace that transcends all understanding.
