REJECTION

Rejection -  refusal, spurning, dismissal, elimination

It happens all the time and it hurts more than we ever imagine. All of us for sure experienced rejection in one point of our life. Even at young age  we experienced being  rejected by our playmates, classmates and even friends and as we grow older and became more mature rejection becomes more intense and hurtful. Rejection varies but the feeling of being rejected stays the same. It leaves us being hurt and broken.  Rejection is like a truth.  Its cause us to questioned our self and measure our degree as a person.  It makes us feel unlovable, worthless and un needed. Suddenly everything just stopped in our life. Its like a song that was  put on pause. But then God came and pressed the play again. He brings back again our identity. He let us smile again and see how colorful the world is. The pain will heal along the way. Eventually you will again be able to stand up, respect and love yourself just  like before and you will learned to forgive others who made wrong to you. And yes, by all means you will learn and accept the fact that rejection is just a part of life. The pain that you went through and all the negative experiences that bring tears and heartache will be an iron that sharpens you and not as a mirror that cause you to rethink of who you really are.  God's word is our  only mirror where we see and look ourselves as the most precious and most  love workmanship of God. He allow us to go on this phase so that what we went through will make us better, stronger and wiser. And in the middle of all those hurtful emotions and experiences that  we've gone through God knows what we feel and He alone is the perfect remedy  we have, He  is able to ease the pain easily.  Remember we may experienced rejection but in God's eyes we are not rejected, we are sought, love beyond measure and bought in a very high price.

As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious.   1 Peter 2:4 (ESV)
