We're already in the month of clear and sunny skies, soaring temperature, long, hot and humid days. In short SUMMER is here again. No more jackets and layerd clothes. Shorts and summer dresses are in. In tropical countries like Philippines it is one of the most awaited season of the year, people love to go to beaches, soaked thier body on its warm and refreshing water. But here in Middle East especially in UAE, summer is a burdensome to all. Staying outside is like putting yourself in oven and waiting to be baked. You will not attempt to leave the comfort of your well air conditioned flats. But something wonderful happened yesterday, heaven is sending rain. Yes you heard it right...its raining with lightning and thunderstorm.
Rain brings in many memories of childhood. I love to see drops of water falling down from heaven. Its really one of the amazing creation of God. It is really so refreshing. Rain soothes not only dried and cracked land but it also soothes and calms me ( but not too much rain because it will bring flood). Rain also brings healing and restoration.
Same with our life there are times that we felt the dryness in us. We have been with so many situations that sap and drain our energy and leave us empty. But the good things is that we have the LIVING WATER who always fills us and refresh our souls. Never we experience droughtness in Him. He freely flows in us and keep us filled over and over again until next summer comes. HE nver run out water so keep on pouring and filling us with Him.
