SA AKING MULING PAGLISAN

As am checking some draft papers inside my bag I found this poem that I  had been written before my plane depart from Changi (Singapore  Airport going back to Dubai one month ago. Tears of sadness had been my companion while writing this poem and those who are working abroad understand how I felt.

Tigatik ng ulan
Ay sumasabay
Sa puso kong nalulumbay

Dalawang taon ng aking huling nilisan
Bayan kong sinilangan
At sa aking muling pagbabalik
Kasiyahan muling naramdaman

Ngunit sa paglipas ng dalawampu't isang araw
Muling akong lilisan

WHAT MAKES A GOOD FATHER?

No word can ever describe  what kind of father you are.

You may not be perfect  but you are more than the best.

From our birth, to our first smile, our first word, to our  first walk, you are  proud with our achievements, yet you  were there in times of our  failures.

You are the pillar of our family.

 You never give up.

 You never show  weaknesses.

You are always STRONG  for us.

Others may find you serious and hot headed person but

they didn’t know   the funny side of you.

Now that we are all grown up.

And been separated by our dreams to live up.

But it doesn’t be a reason to take you for granted.

Now as you celebrate another year of God's faithfulness in your life. And as He add another year of countless blessings and favors from Him.

Allow us to extend our gratitude for all those years of your unfailing love to us. Our thank you's are not enough to return back all those things that you've done for us. But it will somehow let people know that we have the best father every child would ever ask for....

Thank you for keeping our family strong..for assuring us that no problems nor storms even boundaries can separate us.

Thank you for loving God with all your heart, your quest for more wisdom of Him encourages us to do the same.

Thank you for keeping handful of true and loyal friends, because of them we learned that friends are not measured by quantity but by quality.

Thank you for loving our country the way we should be, you never fail to exercise your rights &  actively participated to bring not only our town but our country to God.

Thank you for your love for food because of that we never experienced hunger nor skipping meal. Our table have always food to share on.

Thank you for your love for sports, though we are not as enthusiast as you but you passed on to us the importance of being fit and healthy.

Thank you for your having a heart of a child, for loving these angels, because it’s our assurance that when time comes that we will have our own children you will also do the same.

Thank you for love for mission, we know that your love for lost soul will not only bring you across our country but you will be send to all the corners of the world.

Thank you for leading us to Jesus Christ and making God the foundation of  our family

Thank you for finding and loving our mother, with that we long to marry someone like you.

And for providing such a good example of what a good person we aspires to be.

You may not be able to leap tall buildings

or run faster than a bullet train

or be more powerful than a locomotive

but to us you are our......

SUPERMAN

Our list of thank yous are endless but one thing we thank the LORD the most is for having a father, a friend, a brother and a mentor all in one. We cannot find again exactly just like you...

And we glad we already have you.

 Happy 60th Birthday DY...

Another year of spending life with you.. We love you and it is our honor and great privileged to be called your children.

SAY IT WITH FLOWERS

They say that the way to capture man’s heart is through his stomach but didn’t they know that the surest way to woman’s heart is through flowers. I don’t know if all will agree with me but some or almost all woman will crack a smile once they received even a single bouquet of rose.

There is something in flower that we woman cannot resist. Maybe because of its color or its appearance or its smell. But most importantly the meaning of flowers that draws positive responses from the people. As what it says, “It that thought that counts”. Every single color and type of flower comes with its own traditional meaning and sentiments. We all know that roses in particular have their own language, a rosebud means young love or youth, a mature rose symbolizes lasting love or gratitude. White roses can mean that you view the recipient as innocent-and childlike, pink rose shows that you are happy and content. Red roses signify true love, but a red rose bud symbolizes a deeper, purer, more passionate love. Many people combine red roses with white roses to give the message of unbreakable unity.

To lot of us women, it does not really matter which color or what bloom stage a flower stands for or what kind of flower it is. Just the thought that someone takes time to send us flowers as a reminder of his love and affection is enough to keep us from smiling for the rest of the day.

Glad I got one. Not just a single rose but bouquet of lovely and assorted flowers from someone very special. It really makes my special day an extra special one.
