It's another Valentines Day or in our modern term it is Hearts Day again. A time of year where everyone are trying to filled the whole earth of lots of flowers, chocolates and fancy dates. They were so in love as they say so. Love is in the air. And literally painting the whole town red. Don’t get me wrong I don’t have anything against on it. Feeling and being in love is the greatest emotion we ever have. It makes our heart beats faster and gives unexplainable glow in our eyes. We feel good inside and out and everything around us is so beautiful. A wonderful feeling everyone of us aspire to have. LOVE is the main reason why we are here on earth. But it is not just an ordinary one but great and unconditional kind.
As we greet everyone a very Happy Hearts Day let us not forget the true source of this 4 letter word and that is GOD. The One who loves us first. The One who gave His only Son for the salvation and redemption of mankind. He sacrificed a lot for us. Giving the very best that He have for the sake of eternal life He plan for us.
Love is not selfish; you have to think the sake and welfare of others first before yourself. You desire the happiness of them over your own.
Love is not superficial; it does not come in a glittery and expressive package. Sometimes it was wrapped with trials, hardship and suffering but in the end it gives happiness which is beyond compare.
Love does not keep record of wrongs; if we forgive we should also forget. I think it is the hardest of all. I forgive easily but forgetting and thinking that everything will be back to normal instantly is something that I'm asking the Lord to deal with me. It's really hard especially when you do everything for that person. But as the song goes "Love moves in a mysterious way". Love has its own kind of way of forgiving and forgetting.
Loves always hope; always persevere; always trust even the whole world betrays you, love still remain in you.
It will never fail; it will stand forever.
Love is God. God is Love and the best expression of love is the Cross.
May God's love keep in our heart and may people see the greatest love we have.
